The project is designed to control electrical loads such as heaters,ligts,fans..etc.using computer(PC) and RF technology for wireless communication in residential and industrial areas and usefull for FINAL YEAR ENGNEERING STUDENTS to implement a PROJECT.8051 series of microcontroller is used to control the electrical loads for the desired operation.One can control the electrical appliances switching it ON/OFF seated at a distance from the electrical loads with the help of RF wireless communication and a PC.

The project is designed to control electrical loads such as heaters,ligts,fans..etc using computer(PC) and RF technology for wireless communication useful for industrial applications, home automation, and supervisory control applications.8051 series of microcontroller is used to control the electrical loads for the desired operation.

One can control the electrical appliances switching it ON/OFF seated at a distance from the electrical loads with the help of RF wireless communication and a PC. The commands from the hyperterminal are received by the max232 ic which converts the incoming signal to TTL logic which is understood by the 8051 microcontroller and it produces a output corresponding to the incoming signal.This signal is then transmitted by the RF transmitter module.

The transmitted signal is received by a RF receiver module at the receiver end.The RF signal is decoded and sent to the 8051 microcontroller,depending on the received Rf signal the 8051 microcontroller decides which relay should be turned to turn on/off the electrical load.

RS-232 protocol is used to communicate with the 8051 microcontroller and PC. To turn on/off the appliances, we use Hyper Terminal on PC. Once the connection is established with the PC, then the system starts working. The microcontroller used in this project belongs to 8051 family.
