Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) is a standard architecture used for mobile communication in most of the countries.The MODEM needs AT commands, for interacting with processor or microcontroller,serial communication is used to interface GSM MODEM with the microcontroller or computer . These commands are sent by the microcontroller/processor. The MODEM sends back a result after it receives a AT command. Different AT commands supported by the MODEM can be sent by the processor/controller/computer to interact with the GSM
