Wheelchairs are used by people for whom walking is difficult or impossible due to illness, injury or disability.The robotic wheel chair helps people to navigate without the help of other individual.It consists of a TOUCH SCREEN SENSOR connected to a microcontroller which drives the motor in the desired direction of the person operating it.

TOUCH SCREEN SENSOR produces analog signal when touched which is given to the microcontroller,the microcontroller converts there analog signals into digital using the inbuilt ADC ,therefore different ADC values are obtained when different touch positions.Depending on which position the touch screen is pressed corresponding adc values are computed by the microcontroller and the motor moves in the desired direction.
